AI Is Not Replacing Strategy. It Is Exposing the Need for It.

AI Is Not Replacing Strategy. It Is Exposing the Need for It.

I am actively rethinking my businesses right now.

Not because AI scares me. But because it changes what is possible.

I am already choosing my service providers and collaborators for 2026 based on who is genuinely integrating AI into what they do. Not because I want to do everything myself, but because I want partners who are using these tools to deliver better outcomes.

This is the slowest AI will ever be again. Two years ago, most automation was rule based. Today we are working with agentic systems that can reason, adapt and execute across workflows. Five years ago, most businesses were still debating whether AI mattered at all.

Now it is shaping everything.

Am I concerned about what this means for my businesses. Of course. Anyone paying attention is. But this is not my first wave of disruption. I have spent more than twenty years navigating change as an entrepreneur. This is simply the next evolution.

The difference is that strategy matters more than ever.

Anyone can ask a model to generate content. Anyone can spin up an automation. Anyone can build an agent. But those tools are only as effective as the thinking behind them.

High value AI integration still requires deep industry knowledge, critical thinking and contextual judgement. This is not about replacing expertise. It is about amplifying it.

The winners will be the ones who take their hard earned experience and combine it with these tools to move faster, smarter and more intentionally.

Over this summer break, my focus is clear.

How can I deploy more AI.

How can I integrate smarter automations.

And how can I ensure the result is not just efficiency, but better outcomes for clients.

If this were a training day for staff, I would not measure success by attendance. I would measure it by results. AI should be treated the same way.

This is not about building pretty funnels or clever workflows. It is about standing out as a market leader by doing better work.

None of us will be doing the same job we are doing today in twelve to eighteen months. That does not mean we will not have jobs. It means the work is evolving.

The future belongs to those who adapt early, think strategically and use new tools as opportunities rather than threats.

If you want to understand how to use grants as a growth strategy in 2026 while integrating AI into your business model, DM the word strategy.
